Follow up on The Muslim Vote[edit]
Thanks for your insight on the UK election talk page. Can I just ask a question, out of interest? I'm living in Sweden, the internet allows me to follow some but not all media outlets, and I'm certainly removed from the whole process, so I would love your input.
You said, "This pressure group is already heavily featured, possibly over featured compared to other single-issue campaigns that state preferred candidates, in the endorsements article. I don't believe there is grounds to feature/promote them here."
It might be the language barrier, but do you speak of a particular article or do you mean that TMV has been over featured in media coverage without any substance behind the claims? Either way, I would be interested where you picked up on this. As for me, I was listening to the Prospect Podcast, which I gather has a "labour-to-left"ish tendency, and I've seen them mentioned in the Guardin, the Times and briefly in BBC. As these kind of pressure groups are rare / work differently in Sweden, I would love to read som more, to learn about the modus operandi. Any reading / listening / viewing tips would be appreciated.
Happy to have worked together, despite not a single byte being added to the article we made WP better! OJH (talk) 09:18, 23 June 2024 (UTC)
- The article Endorsements in the 2024 United Kingdom general election, the WP article linked in the Endorsements section of the article whose talk page we were on. Kevin McE (talk) 09:39, 23 June 2024 (UTC)
